error? or typo?

[edit]

In the article I noticed a place that says [quote:] "[...] to grant granting pardons before the legal process had been completed". The first few words do not sound right. Perhaps it should say, "[...] to begin granting pardons before [...]"? What was intended? Anyone?

I would have maybe just changed it to say "[...] to begin granting pardons before [...]", but this article was mentioned on Main_Page so I am being careful. --Mike Schwartz (talk) 22:55, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to User:Nudve for coming up with a way to fix the error. It is probably better than my original "suggestion" of 23 June 2008. CASE CLOSED. --Mike Schwartz (talk) 00:51, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Why does the time stamp on the diff listing, for User:Nudve's change, (20:52, 23 June 2008), seem to be "earlier" than the one << "22:55, 23 June 2008 (UTC)" >> on my comment above? ESP? A "faster than light" / "time travel" paradox? or (more likely) some kind of "time zone" issue? [one time does say "(UTC)", and the other time does not...] just curious.[reply]
Oh, wait; I found a place (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Misza13&oldid=184425589#Archiving_date_problem.3F) where it says "But the timestamps on a History page have no timezone". Is this still an open issue? shouldn't it be fixed? --Mike Schwartz (talk) 00:51, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
